Centre Director
Vu Minh Thu has been responsible for leading all client relationships and team management for Learning Strategies since 2019 (having taken a one-year hiatus after starting with LS in 2014), reporting to the General Director. Ms. Thu works purposefully with empathy and common sense, taking care to listen to each client and is ‘unflappable’ in her approach.
Prior to Learning Strategies, Vu Minh Thu was a business analyst with over 15 years of experience in financial securities – working in the core software team. Ms. Thu has gained a strong understanding as well, of both banking and accounting.
Most importantly, Ms Thu is driven to support the independent and unique needs of children who come to Learning Strategies. She believes that a collaborative approach involving the Centre, the families, and the schools is essential to providing the complex support required to achieve results for every LS child and youth client.

Learning Strategies – Internship Programme
Learning Strategies (LS) offers a challenging and compelling Internship Training Programme for graduates and soon-to-be graduates in the field of education and mental health. The Programme is practical and hands-on and includes performance evaluation designed to support practicum learning and differentiate candidates on the basis of their capability and commitment. LS believes this prepares Interns for the requirements and demands of a career in mental health practice. The Programme is an initial stage of a continuous process of in-house learning and training that is at the core of LS approach to skills development and professional practice.
The Programme is managed out of the Learning Strategies Institute which was established in 2020 with a dedicated team to focus and systematize all training programmes within Learning Strategies and to support external training.
