Uyen Lam
Senior Advisor
Uyen Lam started as an intern in October 2020 at Learning Strategies and officially joined the team in May 2022. Uyen graduated with a Psychology major at Hoa Sen University in 2023.
As a junior program advisor, Uyen specialises in working with children to develop and grow their communication, social, academic, play and leisure, and life skills. She has experience working with teenagers and currently works on the early young intervention program with children who are non-verbal and children with Autism and Down Syndrome.
Uyen has been on a journey to deepen her knowledge of clinical psychology and behavioural psychology. She finds joy in helping children overcome challenging situations and helping them make progress in their developmental milestones. She believes every child deserves to be treated fairly. Uyen values connections, empathy, and sharing. She is inspired to help people around her, especially the families that she works with at Learning Strategies.

Learning Strategies – Internship Programme
Learning Strategies (LS) offers a challenging and compelling Internship Training Programme for graduates and soon-to-be graduates in the field of education and mental health. The Programme is practical and hands-on and includes performance evaluation designed to support practicum learning and differentiate candidates on the basis of their capability and commitment. LS believes this prepares Interns for the requirements and demands of a career in mental health practice. The Programme is an initial stage of a continuous process of in-house learning and training that is at the core of LS approach to skills development and professional practice.
The Programme is managed out of the Learning Strategies Institute which was established in 2020 with a dedicated team to focus and systematize all training programmes within Learning Strategies and to support external training.
