Advisor
Mai graduated with a degree in Marketing Management and had five years of work experience before deciding to transition into the field of ABA due to her passion for working with children and psychology. She joined Learning Strategies in April 2024 after earning the Applied Behavior Analysis Technician (ABAT) certification and is currently working under the supervision of the senior team at Learning Strategies.
Mai directly supports children with special needs, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, Down syndrome and language difficulties. She has a particular strength in assisting children with speech and communication challenges through Makaton Sign, enabling them to express their needs and emotions more effectively. Mai believes that every child is unique and has their own potential, and the key to their growth is creating the right environment for them to develop their abilities to the fullest. With her gentle approach and patience in understanding children’s needs, Mai not only helps them learn but also builds a safe connection, making them feel comfortable during the intervention process.
For Mai, the most meaningful part of her work is witnessing the progress of each child, no matter how big or small. The moments when a child first uses language, expresses emotions, or achieves a new skill are always the greatest source of motivation, reinforcing Mai’s belief in the path she has chosen. Therefore, Mai continuously expands her knowledge of ABA and behavioral psychology, aiming to enhance her ability to support children in the most comprehensive way. She firmly believes that with patience, the right guidance and a nurturing environment, every child can reach their full potential.
