Thao Nhu

Advisor

Nhu joined Learning Strategies as an intern before transitioning to her current role as a Junior Advisor. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Fulbright University Vietnam and has completed her Applied Behavior Analysis Technician (ABAT) certification. She currently works under close clinical supervision, deepening her practical skills in applied behavior analysis and early intervention.

In her role, Nhu supports children with developmental differences across structured and naturalistic settings, with a focus on building communication, engagement, and adaptive skills. She takes an individualized approach to each client, drawing on evidence-based practices to meet their unique needs and goals.

Nhu has a particular interest in autism and ADHD, and in understanding how neurodivergent individuals experience and navigate the world. She is committed to a strengths-based approach – one that honors each child’s progress and supports the development of self-awareness, social connection, and a strong sense of identity. She believes early intervention is foundational to long-term inclusion and well-being, and is motivated by the milestones her clients reach. Her goal is to continue building expertise in clinical and behavioral psychology to provide increasingly high-quality support to neurodivergent children, adolescents, and their families.
