Huong Ho

Huong has been working as a member of the Learning Strategies team since May, 2017. Huong is a Qualified Autism Service Practitioner – Supervisor (QASP-S) upon completion of a combined learning programme of professional development with LS and the Florida Institute of Technology in the US. Huong is fluent in English and Vietnamese and comfortable working in both languages.

As a senior programme advisor, Huong works with children and adolescents with a variety of challenges across home, centre, and classroom based settings. Huong’s range of experience includes working with children and adolescents affected by learning, behavioural, and emotional difficulties as well as organising group activities for a small group of teenagers. Huong currently co-leads and trains teams of practitioners across home and school settings.

Huong values the importance of the warm, calm and confident demeanour when directly implementing educational programmes to children with different challenges, as well as effectively communicating and cooperating with parents and school teachers. Huong finds the work with individuals with various challenges both rewarding and challenging, and she wishes to continue to make changes to one life at a time, one session at a time.
